Nevada Health Link logoCARSON CITY, Nev. – Open enrollment has begun on NevadaHealthLink.com, Nevada’s official health insurance marketplace, and runs through January 15. For Plan Year 2027, Nevadans can shop more than130 Qualified Health Plans from nine health insurance carriers and 14 Qualified Dental Plans from four dental carriers.

Open Enrollment is the annual opportunity for Nevadans to shop for and enroll in health coverage through NevadaHealthLink.com. Nevada Health Link is the only resource where Nevadans can see if they qualify for financial savings to lower monthly premium payments or out-of-pocket costs on private health insurance plans. Nearly 80 percent of Nevada Health Link enrollees qualify for financial savings. Nevada Health Link is ideal for anyone who does not get affordable health coverage from their employer or through Medicaid or Medicare.

Plans and prices change every year; current Nevada Health Link enrollees should confirm their account information is up to date, and shop and compare available health plan options to ensure they are in the best plan for them and their budgets for 2027.

The Nevada Health Link Call Center has expanded hours during Open Enrollment to help Nevadans with their applications and get answers to their coverage questions. On November 1, the call center will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Throughout Open Enrollment, the call center is available six days a week, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., excluding holidays. Nevadans can call 1-800-547-2927 for assistance with their applications and health plan options.

Battle Born State Plans (BBSPs) return for a second year, offering Nevadans additional options designed to lower monthly premium costs. Available statewide through Health Plan of Nevada, Anthem (Community Care Health Plan of Nevada) and SilverSummit (Ambetter), BBSPs, like all plans offered through Nevada Health Link, cover the ten essential health benefits, including hospitalization, doctor visits, emergency care, lab work and prescription drugs. BBSPs, along with Governor Lombardo’s Market Stabilization Program, helped lower average premium increases by nearly seven percent statewide, and up to 11 percent in Clark County, compared with projected costs.

“Open enrollment is the one time each year Nevadans can sign up for or change their health coverage without experiencing a qualifying life event, so we urge everyone to take a few minutes to review their options,” said Janel Davis, Executive Officer of Nevada Health Link. “Whether you’re enrolling for the first time or returning to make sure you’re still in the best plan, we offer free local enrollment assistance from certified brokers, navigators, and call center team who are ready to help you find a plan that works for you and your family.”
